The 1-day workshop on "Traffic Optimization" is organized by the research group for Discrete and Combinatorial Optimization on 8th October, 2015. The workshop aims at addressing the many aspects of traffic optimization from routing, modeling and algorithm design to simulation, in particular in urban environments. The main purpose is to introduce the field to general audience. The workshop is funded by HGS MathComp, the Heidelberg Graduate School of Mathematical and Computational Methods for the Sciences, of the Interdisciplinary Center for Scientific Computing (IWR).
